Amacon’s 19th Annual Vancouver Tree Lighting
Posted On December 1, 2025
On November 28, 2025, Amacon proudly hosted its 19th Annual Vancouver Tree Lighting at Vancouver Art Gallery Square, welcoming the holiday season with an evening filled with music, joy, and community spirit. The beloved annual tradition once again brought together families, friends, partners, and neighbours drawing more than 2,500 attendees to the heart of downtown Vancouver.
The evening featured a lively lineup of performances that delighted guests of all ages, including a festive marching band and energetic dancers who helped set the tone for a joyful celebration. Children and families were especially thrilled by a visit from Santa Claus and his elves, who spread holiday cheer throughout the square and made the night truly magical for Vancouver’s youngest attendees.
Amacon was honoured to welcome Mayor Ken Sim, members of Vancouver City Council, and valued event sponsors, who joined in marking the official lighting of the tree and shared remarks highlighting the importance of community connection, generosity, and giving back during the holiday season.
Beyond the festivities, the Tree Lighting continues to serve a meaningful purpose at the core of Amacon’s values. Proceeds from this year’s event were proudly donated to BC Children’s Hospital, the Vancouver International Children’s Festival, and Honour House, supporting organizations that make a lasting impact on children, families, and Canadian Armed Forces members and veterans.
As Amacon approaches two decades of hosting this cherished event, the 19th Annual Vancouver Tree Lighting stands as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when a community comes together. We are deeply grateful to our partners, performers, volunteers, and attendees for making this year’s celebration such a success.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year as we celebrate our 20th anniversary on November 27, 2026.
