Amacon’s 16th Annual Vancouver Tree Lighting

Posted On December 2, 2022

Amacon was proud to present another Vancouver Tree Lighting Celebration on December 2, 2022. This was our 16th consecutive year hosting the event, which took place in front of the iconic Vancouver Art Gallery. The Tree Lighting event is a special occasion that marks the start of the holiday season in Vancouver. Hundreds of people gathered in the square to enjoy a night of music and entertainment and watch as the 76′ tree is lit up for the first time. Guest speaker Fred Lee led the crowd and we had appearances from Mayor Ken Sim and members of the city council. The event brings the community together to revel in festivities and give back to an important cause.

This year Amacon raised over $120,000 in donations for charities including the BC Children’s Hospital, Vancouver International Children’s Festival, and Honour House. These amazing organizations help provide care to sick children and their families as well as fund medical research. Thank you to all of our sponsors and to everyone who was able to join us this year. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
